In order to sustain students’ individual development, BNDS has been implementing Integrated Curriculum, Tiered Curriculum, Categorized Curriculum, and Special Education Curriculum since 2011. 327 Subject Courses, 29 Exploratory Activities, 164 Career Exploration options, and 172 Student Societies. BNDS endeavors to help students to discover and fully develop their interests and strength.
At BNDS, students can further explore the mystery of science through high level courses and scientific projects, such as University Chemistry, Application of GIS Technology, Biotechnology, Geoscience, Robot Design and Control, Self-driving Automobile Design, etc. They enjoy themselves at the high-end laboratories at BNDS and laboratories in universities.
At BNDS, lots of students are interested in humanities and social sciences. In order to meet their learning and development needs, the school has created high-end programs in humanities and social sciences, covering literature, linguistics, philosophy, aesthetics, psychology, economics, archaeology and other professional fields. Students have broadened their humanistic horizons and found their own direction.
In order to meet the comprehensive and individual growth needs of students, the school has developed an integrated curriculum system, including courses such as Foreign Culture Day, Research-based Learning, Sports season, Adult Ceremony, Student Cinema, Appointment with Seniors，Master’s lecture, etc. The curriculum improve students’ comprehensive literacy through rich campus activities, ritual education, club life, labor practice and other courses.
BNDS is committed to creating education suitable for every student’s development, providing students with a variety of courses in which students can discover their potential. As a "runway" for students' growth, courses are not only set up by school teachers, but more importantly, many of them are created because students voiced their needs. Courses created due to students’voices include Squash, Animation Design, Costume Design, Industrial Design, Korean, Pop Music Band, etc.
In each classroom, learning activities are taking place in various forms including independent learning, teamwork, peer learning, performance-based learning, project-based learning, and etc. BNDS has committed to continuously stimulating students' motivation, promoting students' deep learning experience, and enhancing students' capability to solve problems.
